Leadership in the Workplace

August 20-21, 2014

On Aug. 20 & 21, 2014, the Studer Community Institute hosted the first of a series of training and development workshops to help organizations create great workplaces and provide superior customer service.

310 people attended the “Leadership in the Workplace” workshop conducted by Quint Studer at the Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand Hotel.

The Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, the Gulf Coast African American Chamber of Commerce, and the Pensacola Young Professionals partnered with the Institute to promote the event. The seminars were conducted by Quint Studer.

Randy Hammer of the Studer Institute said that the day-long seminar was intended to help attendees learn skills and techniques to develop an engaged workforce and create a culture of great customer service.

“The goal of the Studer Institute, at the core, is to improve the quality of life for the people in our community,” said Hammer. “One of the things we really want to focus on at this first workshop is developing local talent, because if we can help a small business be more efficient, or create better customer service, or if we can help a nonprofit serve its clients better, then our community as a whole will improve. This day-long training will be the first of several opportunities the Studer Institute will provide to the public to start building a stronger community.”
